Day 1 - Self Awareness
Our theme for today is Self Awareness. I'm going to be talking about what it is, how important it is to our wellbeing and growth, and ways of improving it within yourself.
Day 2 - Letting Go
It's the second day of Mental Health Awareness Week, and today we're going to be talking about Letting Go. How we hold on to negative thoughts and feelings, and how important it is to our wellbeing to let those go and focus on being present.
Day 3 - Taking Responsibility
Today, we're going to be talking about Taking Responsibility. What it means to own our actions, and to recognise the things that we can control in our lives, and the things that we can't.
Day 4 - Wellbeing at Work
Today I'm going to be exploring Wellbeing at Work. We spend a lot of our time at work, so it's important to ensure that, as employees, we manage our mental and physical wellbeing, and as employers we look out for the wellness of the employees in our care.
Day 5 - Cultivating Gratitude
It's Friday, day 5 of Mental Health Awareness Week, and today I am going to be talking to you about gratitude. Gratitude is a really important component of our lasting happiness. It helps us to feel more positive emotions, to appreciate good experiences, to deal with adversity, and to build strong relationships.
Day 6 - Self Worth
Today, I'm going to be talking about Self Worth. Self worth is at the core of who we are. It is intrinsically linked to our thoughts, our feelings, and our behaviour — the lens through which we view ourselves as human beings.
Day 7 - Finding Balance
Our final topic is Finding Balance. To me, balance is all about managing the priorities of the things in our life that pull us in different directions, and making sure that we find the time to look after ourselves in the midst of all of that.
